RORY DUBH 1ST of The May

Ear tag: UK 741 989 600074
Out of Molag 1st of The May and Sired by Gille Dubh 5th of Killochries.

Rory's mother, Molag, is one of our quietest cows and Rory has inherited her temperament. He was at the Royal Welsh Show in July and was much admired by the judge and the public for his robust conformation and his tranquil temperament. Quality black bulls are in very short supply and this, with his amenable nature, is ideal for a new or novice breeder.

AGNES CLOIMNEAG 2nd of The May

This yearling we call "Snowflake" (Cloimneag). Her previous sister was snow white. She is out of a cow that is such a good specimin we use in our adverstising: Agnes of 2nd of The May. Snowflake is a well grown, lengthy heifer, seen here very much in her working clothes, she has a calm temperament and is very sociable.

Subhlair Dubh 2nd of The May

This is an extremely pretty 2 year old. Through her mother she has some rare bloodlines in her pedigree. Temperamentally quiet, sweet, classic head and horns.

An Uiseag 3rd of Craigowmill

8 year old Cow with a very stout black bull calf (lurking behind the rushes!) at foot. Consistently produces quality offspring. From rare Leachy bloodlines.

Magdhean Dhubh 13th of Balinoe

6 year old Black cow with black heifer calf at foot and in calf to Gille Dubh 5th of Killochries. Magdhean comes from 5 generations of black breeding on both sides of her pedigree.

Bannarach Bude of Achnacloich

We call this cow Mrs Bun because she has a bustling housewifely look about her. She is the mother of the little heifer that Annie's leading on the "About us" page; one of the most characterful and pretty heifers we have. Mrs Bun is for sale with a sturdy little bull calf at foot.
